We arrived at about 2pm, Scot was already here for a couple of hours checking the place out and we met briefly close to Terlingua. Scot went to buy the passes to get access to the state park and we went to get our keys.
We all met at the Terlingua trading post and then made our way to the Rock House. Craig and Norma were on the way on the RV.
We got to the house, unloaded the stuff so that when Craig and Norma arrived we helped them park the RV, unloaded the vast amounts of food and drink and then got dressed up for a ride.
Plan was to go the state park (which is about 20 miles away) and then ride Old Maverick road to St. Elena's canyon walk to see the sun start to set and then ride back the same way to arrive just before sun was set.
